Social Work, B.S. (Lincoln University) to Social Work, M.S.W.

As a student in Lincoln University’s Bachelor of Science in Social Work (B.S.S.W.) program, you may already be eligible* for advanced standing in the Saint Louis University Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) program, allowing you to waive generalist coursework and move directly into advanced practice study.

By participating in the Accelerated Pathway, you can further shorten your time to the M.S.W. by taking select SLU M.S.W. courses online during your final year at Lincoln. These graduate courses are taken in addition to advanced standing credits and count toward your bachelor’s degree at Lincoln and your M.S.W. degree at SLU. This option allows you to enter the SLU M.S.W program with advanced standing and additional graduate coursework completed*.

After graduating from Lincoln, you complete the remainder of the M.S.W. either online or on campus at SLU and choose either the Clinical or Community and Organization concentration — making this one of the fastest pathways from a B.S.S.W. to an M.S.W.
