Mental Health and Society, Microcredential
Mental Health and Society is a three-course (9 credit hours) microcredential that examines mental health using social, cultural, and global perspectives. Drawing on sociology and anthropology, students study the social forces that shape mental health and illness using qualitative and quantitative research approaches. This microcredential provides interdisciplinary training at the intersection of social science and biomedical knowledge, complementing majors and prehealth pathways in psychology, neuroscience, public health and related disciplines.
