Social Work, B.S. (Saint Louis University) to Social Work, M.S.W.

Would you like to complete your B.S.S.W and M.S.W. in as little as five years?

As a student in Saint Louis University’s Bachelor of Science in Social Work (B.S.S.W.) program, you are eligible* for advanced standing in the SLU Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) program, allowing you to waive generalist coursework and move directly into advanced practice study.

By participating in the Accelerated Pathway, you can further shorten the time to your M.S.W. by beginning select graduate-level social work courses during your final year as an undergraduate. These courses count toward both your B.S.S.W. and M.S.W. degrees.

After completing the B.S.S.W., you continue directly into the M.S.W. program with advanced standing and additional graduate coursework you completed during your senior year. Students can choose from the following specializations for their M.S.W.: Clinical, Applied Behavior Analysis, or Community and Organization.
