Introductory Health Data Science, Microcredential

The introductory health data science microcredential at Saint Louis University is a flexible, accessible program designed to equip nontraditional and adult learners — including working professionals, graduate students, and career changers — with essential skills in health data management and programming.

Aligned with SLU’s Catholic, Jesuit mission, the program integrates ethical reflection, equity-focused case studies, and social justice principles into the technical curriculum. It promotes diverse perspectives across race, gender identity, socioeconomic status, and global backgrounds by using inclusive content, real-world applications, and a delivery format that accommodates a broad range of learners.
